ProSidian Seeks a Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist [DOE0093092] for Program Support on a Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington. Across The Pacific Northwest Region supporting DOE EM Hanford which is a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist [DOE0093092] candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Oversight And General Support Services Under Job Task Category 05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - General Support Services (GSS) For Hanford Field Office (HFO) Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. Responsibilities and Duties
Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist responsibilities include providing services and support for Environmental Management in the Hanford Field Office (HFO) and related DOE entities, as part of General Support Services (GSS) for AMSE/AMSQ. Conduct hazard assessments and IH surveys, ensure compliance with 10 CFR 851, and support the AMSE/AMSQ Office with related IH activities across Electrical, Facility, Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Safety, Training, Environmental/Regulatory, Safety and Security, Nuclear Safety, Criticality Safety, Engineering, and Regulatory Support Services at the Hanford site. Evaluate and oversee industrial hygiene programs to ensure regulatory compliance, provide technical expertise, and generate operational awareness reporting to enhance safety and health standards at Hanford. Lead IH sampling during outages and support broader IH monitoring activities; perform JHA and exposure analysis as part of daily responsibilities. Coordinate with the Hanford Field Office, EMCBC, and other DOE entities; travel as approved; security clearance requirements as applicable; on-site work at Hanford with some remote support as approved. Utilize Government-Furnished Resources, assign work on-site at HFO, and support performance predominantly on-site with possible remote tasks. Qualifications
5–8+ years IH/safety experience; CIH/CSP preferred. Education: BS in IH/Safety; HAZWOPER certification. Skills and Competencies
Primarily focused on assist program and project management support in daily business activities within AMSE/AMSQ. IH monitoring, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), exposure analysis. Competencies include observation, coaching, and vigilance. Ancillary Details
Lead IH sampling during outages; functional attributes include IH monitoring. Job tasks related to Hanford Field Office GSS may vary +/-15% of staffing levels; travel as approved; security clearances as required; work location primarily Richland, WA with on-site performance and some remote work as approved.
