Job Summary Oversees 24/7 operations of plant production. Ensures all required quality and regulatory standards are met. Assists in developing processes to maximize safety, quality, productivity and stewardship. Works with others to set major goals that support broad functional objectives and promotes an environment aligned with the following principles: fast-acting decision making, entrepreneurial spirit, high autonomy within a team-based framework, and a strong sense of urgency.
Main Position Responsibilities
Foster a team environment with strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development to accomplish company goals.
Foster a culture of openness, high trust, and continuous learning.
Drive overall plant operations which may include finance, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources, and information systems.
Help develop a culture of high trust, clear metrics, leading indicators, ownership, and accountability.
Align objectives within each function to achieve safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and people development goals.
Observe 24/7 daily operations to ensure facility performance aligns with business objectives in safety, quality, productivity, and people development.
Coordinate plant activities with the General Manager and department managers to meet manufacturing objectives and promote accountability.
Understand and ensure regulatory compliance standards are met.
Ensure technical objectives are met and resolve roadblocks or issues quickly.
Lead 20–30 employees (salary), strategic partners, and suppliers.
Employee Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience of 7+ years with 5 years in operations leadership.
Experience in change management, process improvement, and optimization.
Ability to lead with trust and a passion to grow and develop self and others.
Strong communication skills at all levels—from shop floor to executive leadership.
Willingness to be accessible 24/7 and on holidays to support the facility as needed.
Pay Range: $128,000 - $159,000 (based on experience).
