– Oversees 24/7 plant production operations, ensures quality and regulatory standards are met, and contributes to safety, quality, productivity and stewardship initiatives. Works with the General Manager to plan and coordinate plant activities with department managers to achieve manufacturing objectives and foster accountability. MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Foster a team environment with strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to challenge the status quo.

Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development to achieve company goals.

Foster a culture of open, high-trust, learning environment.

Drive overall plant operations, including finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources, and information systems.

Assist in developing a culture of high trust, clear metrics, leading indicators, ownership, and accountability.

Assist with aligning functional objectives to achieve business goals, including safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and people development.

Monitor 24/7 operations to ensure performance aligns with business objectives in safety, quality, productivity and people development.

Coordinate plant activities with department managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are met and promote accountability.

Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met and technical objectives are achieved with timely resolution of roadblocks.

This role leads 20–30 employees (salary), strategic partners, and suppliers.

EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing (equivalent experience acceptable).

Manufacturing experience of 7+ years with 5 years in operations leadership.

Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization.

Ability to lead with trust and a drive to develop self and others; effective communication from shop floor to executive level.

Willingness to be accessible 24/7 and on holidays to support the facility as needed.
