Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of mechanical & electrical personnel in safe and effective maintenance procedures.
Manage a maintenance program incorporating both preventative and routine activities to minimize machine downtime.
Lead mechanical staff in repairs or rebuild of equipment to avoid breakdowns, ensuring safe work and accurate documentation.
Lead training requirements and professional development of maintenance team.
Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and solutions as necessary.
Manage spare parts inventory.
Comply with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations from regulatory agencies.
Establish goals & objectives for the maintenance department aligned with plant & business goals.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules & quality standards.
Accountable for improving equipment availability, advancing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and achieving plant reliability excellence.
Accountable for efficient utilization of maintenance technicians and equipment and advancing planning and scheduling processes.
Initiate and drive improvements through training programs, capital projects, and other means to focus on productivity and control of maintenance & capital spend.
Analyze maintenance problems and devise & implement corrective action plans.
Develop & maintain parts inventory system to ensure control & proper levels of spare parts.
Evaluate employee performance to determine training needs & development opportunities.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Additional Information
Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a plant wide Maintenance Manager.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline preferred.
Injection Molding or Foaming Experience preferred.
PLC experience a plus.
