We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team in Gainesville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly in handling residential and commercial closings. Experience in estate planning is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process documents related to real estate closings, including contracts, title commitments, closing statements, and related correspondence Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions Conduct title searches and assist with resolving title issues Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and firm policies Maintain organized files and records for all transactions Provide general support to the attorney Assist with estate planning matters, including preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents Qualifications
Experience as a real estate paralegal, with a focus on closings Familiarity with Florida real estate law and closing procedures Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and real estate closing software Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience in estate planning is advantageous, but not required Candidate must be organized and hardworking with a good team attitude, good work ethic, and a professional appearance Application Instructions
