Qualifications
Valid Teacher Certification
A Master's Degree, Type 75 Certificate
At least three years of successful teaching experience

Reports to Principal / Assistant Principal
Supervises As directed by Principal
Job Goal(s)
To establish and maintain a safe and positive educational climate conducive to learning and well-being of each student
To assist the Principal in overseeing the daily operations of the school
Performance Responsibilities
Provides services related to student behavior management, including discipline, support, positive recognition, and other activities related to developing a positive student climate and culture
Assists in the preparation, distribution, and education of student handbook
Supervises student conduct within the school and oversees all disciplinary matters and procedures for students in grades 9-12 and maintains appropriate records
Implements student behavior interventions
Responds to daily discipline issues for students; determines appropriate consequences as necessary
Administers the detention/suspension programs
Investigate all harassment and bullying complaints
Mediate student conflicts
Administers and enforces school rules as they pertain to student attendance, overseeing student attendance procedures, records, rules, and truancy matters
Communicates with parents, principal, SRO, student service team members, outside agencies, and other professionals regarding student behaviors and academics
Supervises the faculty and student parking lots, and administers the parking pass system
Assists in implementation of 504 plans, as appropriate
Assists in the supervision of extra-school and extra-curricular activities including managing the social probation list program
Assists in the supervision of student lunchrooms
Assists in the process of evaluating certified and non-certified staff
Assists in the oversight of the daily operations of Summer School
Assists the Principal in the general administration of the school
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal may assign
Compensation Prorated annual base salary range $64,000-$74,000 based on background and experience
