Performs a variety of advanced technical and professional duties to expedite child investigative services in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines and laws. Services include counseling, parent education, case planning, and management involving cases of sexual abuse, physical abuse, child neglect, foster care, youth in conflict, and related matters. Conducts inquiries concerning allegations of child abuse, youth in conflict, and neglect in home or institutional settings; interviews children/youth, parents, providers, and collaterals; assesses risk and safety; documents the investigative process in the State database.
