We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our renowned Private Client Services Practice Group in our West Palm Beach office. This role is geared towards individuals who have a robust background in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration. You will be working alongside a top-tier team, offering legal services to individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries such as banks and trust companies. Salary:
DOE per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive estate plans and counsel clients on wealth preservation techniques. Advise on estate and gift taxation, utilizing the latest laws and strategies to benefit the client. Administer estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with all legal, tax, and fiduciary obligations. Provide guidance on international estate planning, including cross-border tax implications and strategies. Collaborate with certified partners and team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. Engagement in continuing legal education and professional development to remain at the forefront of private client services. Minimum Position Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 5-15 years of experience in estate planning, tax, and trust administration. Active member of the Florida Bar. Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues pertaining to the private client sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage sensitive and confidential information. Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Preferred Qualifications: LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning. Experience with international estate planning. Florida Bar Board Certification in Wills, Trusts and Estates. Previous partnership or leadership role within a legal practice. Familiarity working with corporate fiduciaries, charitable organizations, and foundations. Skills: In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Expertise in drafting complex wills, trusts, and estate plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
