Complex Litigation Paralegal (DTLA)

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their litigation practice group. This position is based onsite/remote and involves supporting a wide range of litigation matters with a focus on case organization, e-discovery, trial preparation, and providing trial/arbitration support.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of complex legal documents, discovery, analysis of wage and hour records, and creation of damages analyses.
Ensure case organizational protocols are followed.
Partner with case teams and colleagues to address client needs.
Provide on-site trial support, including out-of-state trials.
Conduct cite checks on federal and state court filings, including proofreading and editorial content review.
Conduct calendaring and docketing legal analysis, maintaining an active secondary calendar for case teams.
Conduct legal research on a variety of topics.
Review and process subpoenas, compile personnel data/records, and communicate with requesting parties.
Provide motion and deposition support, manage transcript databases, and handle witness interviews and filings.
Assist with discovery, including drafting written discovery, objections, and managing document reviews.
Engage in fact development and facilitate foreign language document translations.
Coordinate and provide support on appellate filings, including preparation of appendices.
Implement post-matter closing instructions, including compliance with litigation holds and document destruction policies.
Participate in firm-sponsored trainings and apply learned principles in ongoing work.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Paralegal Certification (California Business and Professional Code Sect. 6450 compliant).
3+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Proficiency with legal support software: Westlaw, Lexis, Relativity, iTimekeep, Case Notebook, or similar tools.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Strong reasoning skills and ability to interpret complex facts and themes.
Flexibility in work direction and assignments.
Strong cite-checking skills and ability to produce accurate results.
Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
Demonstrate initiative, good judgment, and attention to detail.
