Location: Bridgewater, NJ Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM Compensation: $32 - $34 per hour. Excellent benefits package Responsibilities

CNC Technician / Operator responsibilities include set ups and operation of our 8 machines, including various CNC machinery for milling, turning, drilling and tapping (SNK, Okuma, Seki and Fadal) and may include setting up plasma cutting machinery (burn table), CNC machinery along with two Press Brake machines. Coordinate production schedule with management and work closely with other Operators and Welder/Fabricators. Decipher blueprints, diagrams, sketches and renderings to assist with prototype runs and other production of highly customized steel products. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs and provide efficient, lasting solutions. Fabricate basic replacement parts as needed or temporary or hard to find replacement parts. May include tooling, jigs, and fixtures to aid production efficiency and quality. Strictly adhere to company safety procedures and manufacturing policies. Perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned. Production Support

Operate cranes and forklifts to transport raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods. Manage incoming steel plate inventory and outgoing shipments, including accurate paperwork. Set up and operate bending, burning, and shearing machinery, maintaining precision and adherence to job specifications. Measure and code incoming materials to ensure inventory accuracy. Support smooth workflow by keeping pace with machine operators and preventing production delays. Conduct and document daily forklift inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness. Read and interpret job orders accurately and communicate with supervisors to ensure clarity. Demonstrate expert welding and fitting skills. Perform additional production-related duties as needed. CNC Technician / Operator Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school training or education is highly desirable such as engineering studies, vocational skills training such as Welding or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic schooling / apprenticeship. Must have at least one (1) year working with CNC machinery. Must have prior basic experience working around low-voltage wiring, single-phase (120V), and three-phase (480V). Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
