Camels Hump Middle School is looking for a licensed teacher for the role of Math Interventionist for students in grades 7-8 who are struggling in the areas of fact fluency, math computation, and foundational math. The successful candidate would have experience in the following areas: -positively engaging students in the areas of math computation, problem solving, and math skills outlined in 5th and 6th grade math standards -implementing pre and post assessments and analyzing data to inform interventions of support for students; -demonstrating knowledge of and ability to use research-based principles of effective instruction and preparing student lesson plans; -experience working with middle school students specifically in the areas of fact fluency, problem solving, foundational math skills; - team player who likes collaborating and possesses excellent communication skills; -familiar with VTMtSS and educational support teams -experience teaching math as well as curriculum development for middle grades MMUUSD is committed to supporting the success of all learners by eradicating bias in our systems and graduating students with critical literacy and equity literacy skills. Successful applicants will be invested in the success of every learner and expected to engage in continuing capacity building to support diverse learners.
