Salary : Starting hourly pay is $32.10, which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Summary Assesses patients’ nutritional status; develops and implements nutrition care plans; provides consultation and recommendations for hospitalized and clinic patients; works with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote patient care; provides nutrition instruction to patients, staff, and the community; participates in interdisciplinary activities, nutrition‑related staff and department projects; attends rounds and assists in quality assurance program initiatives; maintains credentialing.
Required Education and Experience
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Certified in the State of New York as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full‑time experience as a nutritional services provider.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Dietetics.
Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) and/or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC).
Clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Expertise in nutrition counseling and oncology.
Proficiency in tube feeding and TPN/parenteral nutrition support.
