Job Summary We are seeking a ten‑month, tenure‑track Assistant Professor who brings expertise in computer science, teaching, scholarship, and service. The position involves teaching undergraduate courses, conducting scholarly research, and contributing to the department and university.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate core and elective courses in computer science, including day and evening classes. Online teaching experience is required.
Travel between MGA campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) as needed.
Conduct research and scholarly activities that lead to publication in peer‑reviewed journals.
Serve the department and university through committee service and outreach.
Required Qualifications
PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
