Overview
Whittaker Road Denta l is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Hours Needed: Monday 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday 8:15am-5:30pm, Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm.
Whittaker Road Denta, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental. Heartland Dental is the nation’s largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,800 dental offices. Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
New grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Prolonged periods sitting and standing
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
TB test requirement for new hires in dental office positions, arranged during pre-employment
