Assist surgical teams under the supervision of surgeons and RNs, working with state‑of‑the‑art instruments, robotics, and minimally invasive techniques. Eligible candidates may receive a relocation bonus up to $8,000 (subject to exclusions).

Responsibilities

Prepare and inventory sterile set‑up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases.

Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed.

Assist in preparing and moving patients, sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.

Scrub on all cases; give breaks and provide additional supplies and sterile instruments as required.

Assist with room turnover and restocking for the next day’s cases.

Maintain the sterile field and anticipate surgeon’s needs.

Update preference cards.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

Shepherd 8 OR suites plus 1 cystoscope and 1 minor procedure room.

Work across specialties: orthopedics, spine, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, urology, GI, robotics, ENT, GYN.

Support call shifts – 4‑6 call shifts per 6‑week cycle, with weekend and weekday call windows.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist (or applicable alternative).

Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA or NCCT) required.

Basic computer skills required.

Preferred: One year of surgical experience; preference for specific specialty field experience.

Physical Requirements Medium work: occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, frequently up to 20 lbs, constantly up to 10 lbs.

Where You’ll Work St. Anthony North Health Campus – Westminster, Colorado. The campus features a Level III Trauma Center, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center, 92 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center. The surgical department includes 8 OR rooms, 1 cystoscope room, 1 minor procedure room, GI room and pain management room.

Pay Range $26.49 – $41.45 per hour.
