JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of all Slot machines, Ticket Redemption Kiosks, and associated hardware and software. Responsible for ensuring all machines and Ticket Redemption Kiosks are functional and ready for play. Responsible for checking of equipment for malfunctions and preventive maintenance, ensuring minimum downtime of equipment. Responsible for coordinating all requisitions for spare/needed parts orders with Lead Technician. Responsible for assisting guests and Slot personnel with guest service and repair problems and questions regarding machines.

Required skills and knowledge

High school diploma or GED certificate.

Six months experience in repair of electrical and/or electronic equipment.

Good mechanical aptitude and experience using mechanical tools (i.e. sockets, wrenches, screw drivers, etc.).

Administrative abilities, including record keeping.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent guest service skills.

Current knowledge of occupational safety issues.

Ability to work productively.

Possess active listening skills.

Knowledge of rules and procedures of electronic games or similar experience.

Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.

Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.

Preferred skills and knowledge

One year of experience in repair of electrical and /or electronic equipment.

Ability to problem solve.

Ability to take initiative.

Ability to multi-task.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull.

Ability to stand or move around continuously for 8 or more hours.

Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Repairs, modifies and maintains Slot machines and Ticket Redemption Kiosks.

Maintains all other property and equipment.

Assists guests and Slot personnel.

Ability to explain how to play the machines offered in the Casino.

Awareness of gaming lights on gaming machine(s).

Proper radio etiquette.

Displays a high level of guest service skill.

Perform other duties as assigned.
