Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist – Highly Specialist (Band 7)

Key Responsibilities

Assess the Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) of CYP accessing Bairns' Hoose support.

Share findings and recommend supports to family and other professionals.

Upskill communication partners involved in supporting CYP with SLCN who are accessing Bairns' Hoose and promote an inclusive communication environment.

Collect data to inform service development using a quality improvement approach.

Qualifications & Requirements

Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist – Highly Specialist (Band 7).

Customer contract: 0.3 full time equivalent / 11.25 hours per week.

Car drivers are essential – valid driving licence required.

Band 7 salary: £50,861 – £59,159 per annum (pro‑rata).

Location & Contract The Glassgreen Centre, Elgin – Part‑time contract until end March 2026 (contract to be negotiated for continuation beyond this date).

Working hours are negotiable. This post could be combined with other contract work currently advertised in the Moray SLT department to suit candidate and service needs.
