Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in Bronx, NY to help children with special needs reach their goals. We provide evaluations and ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, support, ethical standards, and high-quality services. We offer services in ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, Physical therapy, and Special Education/SEIT. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC), Hudson Valley, Long Island, Albany, Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware. This position is in Bronx, NY. Cases are available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. Wage: Evaluations $135-$190 hourly; $66-120 hourly. Location: Bronx, NY. Department: Clinical. Job Responsibilities for a Speech Language Pathologist
Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in a natural setting. Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings. Follow the therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment, address identified goals, and document progress. Prepare progress reports as indicated. Maintain child records and confidentiality of information (HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Submit required records within established timelines. Requirements for a Speech Language Pathologist
Must have a passion for working with children and families. NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus. Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases (driving a personal vehicle, walking, public transportation). Ability to ascend/descend staircases. Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly. Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods. Additional Details
Starting Rate: Per evaluation $135-$190 hourly; $66-120 hourly. Compensation based on experience and education and discussed during the interview process. Clinical Fellowship Year positions are available as well. Job responsibilities subject to change.
