Delivery Consultant for (Engineering, Energy, Utility, Power Generation & MEP) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Solar O&M Field Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial or utility‑scale solar PV systems. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of field‑deployed solar assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems (commercial or utility-scale).
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system faults, including inverters, modules, combiner boxes, and electrical components.
Conduct system inspections, testing, and performance analysis using diagnostic tools and software.
Perform IV curve tracing, thermography, and other advanced testing techniques.
Complete and submit detailed service reports, logs, and documentation.
Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and industry regulations.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and contractors as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory for field operations.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in solar O&M, preferably on commercial or utility‑scale systems.
Strong understanding of PV systems, electrical schematics, and safety procedures.
Experience with major inverter brands (e.g., SMA, Sungrow, ABB, etc.).
Familiarity with data acquisition systems and monitoring software.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites.
Ability to work independently and in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
NABCEP certification or equivalent is a plus.
OSHA 10/30 certification.
Associate's degree or technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy‑related field.
Experience with medium‑voltage (MV) equipment and utility interconnection preferred
