Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location/work environment: In facility

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to patients’ needs, enjoy the variety of work settings, collaborate with peers, refer for additional care, and always put patients first by ensuring the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.

Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
