Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
Assist patients in restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their physical abilities and independence.
Work adaptively to patients' needs and collaborate with peers; refer patients for additional care as necessary.
Put patients first, ensuring patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
