About the Role A-MED Ambulance is seeking skilled and motivated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and safe medical transportation in the New Orleans area. As part of a dedicated EMS team, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, deliver pre-hospital care, and ensure safe, timely transport of patients.

Responsibilities

Respond to 911, interfacility, and non-emergency calls

Provide high-quality basic life support and patient care

Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and supplies

Document assessments, treatments, and transports in electronic systems

Collaborate with paramedics, dispatchers, and hospital staff

Qualifications

Current Louisiana or National Registry EMT certification

Current CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)

Valid Louisiana driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to lift and move patients with assistance

Perform duties in stressful and physically demanding environments

Maintain focus and clear communication under pressure
