Beds: 28 Minimum Years of Experience: 18 months Med/Tele RN exp Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will consider Specialties: Orthopedic surgery, Vascular Surgery, Medical Overflow RN: 1:4-6; surge times could be 1:7-8 Required License/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team Requirement) Skills required: General post-surgical skillset including incision care, assessment, drains, chest tubes, wound care/wound vacs, mobility, education, trach care, NG tube insertion, use of traction devices Patient Types/Common Diagnoses

RN: 1:4-6; surge times could be 1:7-8 Support within the Department
CNA: phlebotomy, ADLs, Foley insertion/removal, peripheral IV site removal Charge nurse indirect as able IV/VAT Team Mentor to provide additional support, assist in finding policy information RT 24/7 Hospitalist 24/7 Remote Telemetry monitoring House Supervisor provides additional support, serves as resource for information Patient Safety Attendants/Virtual Patient Observation – utilized for patients in need of additional observation/redirection BERT Behavioral Response Team: deployed to assist in de-escalation measures Rapid Response/Code Team: additional resource called with change in condition, respiratory or cardiac arrest Technology/Equipment: EMR EPIC, IV Pump BD Alaris, Med dispensing Omnicell, Monitors Phillips and Massimo Floating: regional assignments may occur Orientation & Scheduling
Orientation (facility and unit): NEO, 2 days departmental Scheduling: Weekend rotation every other week Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Up to 6 days off; add time to end of contract if unable to meet contracted hours Schedule cycle: 6 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color Navy, Parking Free in designated areas, Unit Culture: Positive, Supportive You'll never receive recurrent notifications, aggressive phone calls, or overbearing messages from us.
