Autumn Lake Healthcare at Oak Manor is looking for a
OT Occupational Therapist
to fill a
full-time
position. You will be part of our skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care. Using therapeutic techniques, you will improve, rehabilitate, or maintain the patient's motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. The OT will assess the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to understand the needs of your patients and explain the treatment process. You must also be able to clearly document treatment plans and progress, and effectively communicate with the patient's family or caregiver. Responsibilities
Provide OT services to improve, rehabilitate, or maintain patients' motor skills and daily living activities. Assess physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop individualized treatment plans. Document treatment plans and progress clearly and communicate with patients, families, or caregivers. Qualifications
An active state OT license is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a cohesive team and participate in clinical decision making. Benefits
