— immediately available and open until filled. The position will work on a project on the TOU high-resolution spectrograph and the DHARMA optical telescope with Dr. Jason Dittmann in the Department of Astronomy. Responsibilities

Develop and operate a high-resolution optical spectrograph on Mt Lemmon in Arizona. Develop data pipelines associated with these instruments. Perform radial velocity measurements of exoplanet host stars. Qualifications

Ph.D. in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or Computer Science by the appointment date. Preferred: experience in operation of high-resolution spectrographs and data reduction, radial velocities, and some experience in instrument development. Details

Location: Gainesville, FL (University of Florida) Salary: competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; includes a full benefits package.
