Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is searching for a talented Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive reputation while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. Responsibilities
Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan. Help residents through their tasks and monitor performance. Inform residents what they should anticipate in different stages of recovery and how they will handle each situation. Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential. Supervise the activities of CFYs when required. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to inter‑disciplinary team efforts in resident care. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathologist program. Current and active SLP license or registration in state employed or CFY. Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment. Other Information
