Eduro Healthcare . Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation, formally known as Avantera, is currently searching for a talented in-house Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Eduro Healthcare is the new operator, and our therapists are hired in-house so we can have better communication and collaboration with the entire facility. We train our SLPs in dementia care, PDPM, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics. Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. Responsibilities
Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan.
Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
Supervise the activities of CFYs when required.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
Must hold current and active SLP license or CFY in the state employed or CFY.
Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
Completion of orientation required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
