This position is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of wind turbines. This will require extensive travel throughout the US. The candidate must have a “safety first” attitude with an understanding of doing the job right the first time. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures. Work in and around wind turbines, including climbing towers daily. Interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Prioritize safety in all tasks. Install, inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines. Diagnose and resolve issues to prevent unexpected shutdowns or malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems. Service transmission systems, substations, and fiber optic systems. Replace worn or malfunctioning components. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Active or ability to obtain a TWIC card. Technical degree or certificate in wind energy or related field preferred. At least one year of experience working with wind turbines, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Experience with basic power and hydraulic tools. Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred. PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Commitment to health and safety, following Zero Injury principles. Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics. Effective communication skills. Mathematical proficiency. Ability to follow instructions precisely. Knowledge of hydraulic tools, rotor lockout, and using chain hoists. Attention to detail, basic computer skills, and ability to read drawings. Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in demanding weather conditions. Maintain necessary certifications (First Aid, CPR, Tower Climb & Rescue, LOTO, Arc Flash). Physical Requirements: Must pass a physical exam if required. Climb ladders, work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in various physical conditions. Work Location: Industrial sites and fabrication shops. Environmental Conditions: Outdoor work with exposure to extreme weather, noise, and potential chemical hazards. Seniority level:
