Overview
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek two full-time neuropsychologists to join the Department of Neurology, Neuropsychology Division. Academic rank and track are commensurate with academic record and experience. Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include outpatient neuropsychological evaluation of adults in an integrated clinical setting and engagement in transdisciplinary scholarly activities relating to adults with neurological diseases, such as dementia, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy. Opportunities to train medical residents exist; the Neuropsychology Division has recently developed a practicum training program and collaborates with Psychiatry on their APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship. Additional clinical opportunities may be available (e.g., cognitive rehabilitation, psychotherapy for patients or caregivers, participation in multidisciplinary clinics) depending on interest. The neuropsychologists will join a rapidly growing inter-professional department of over 80 faculty within the Neuropsychology Division. The team includes psychologists, advanced practice providers, and social workers working together to diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological diseases. Qualifications
Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical program (with an accredited clinical internship) Completion of a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and eligibility for board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology A track record of interprofessional collaborative research is preferred How to Apply
