Department/Division Overview The psychologist selected for this position will join a rapidly growing inter‑professional department of over 80 faculty. The department includes a team of psychologists, advanced practice providers, and social workers who collaborate to diagnose and treat a wide range of rare and common neurological diseases.

Duties and Responsibilities This position emphasizes evidence‑based psychological interventions for adults with chronic medical and neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, chronic headaches/dizziness). Adjustment to disease burden is a common treatment focus. Psychoeducation regarding the associations among thoughts, feelings, and worsening physical experiences is another relevant topic. Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in transdisciplinary clinics and to contribute to education and scholarly activities are strongly encouraged. Faculty rank is dependent on the candidate’s qualifications.
