Education Debt Reduction Program Eligibility Eligible for

the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP),

a student loan payment reimbursement program. Must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Incentive Authorized Duties The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) provides clinical psychosocial and Evidence Based Therapies to eligible Veterans and their family members. Incumbent provides direct therapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups in order to treat depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis disorders, PTSD, and other serious psychiatric disorders. The LPMHC will work closely with various Alaska VAHCS programs and behavioral health services to ensure seamless transition of services to Veterans.
