Brief Description Evolve Transporters is a high‑end custom fabrication company with locations in greater Indianapolis, IN and Cleveland, OH. Our clients are some of the biggest motorsport teams and brands in the world, for which we assist in designing and fabricating race transporters. This position reports to: Shop Foreman
What You Can Expect In This Role The Electrical Foreman oversees all electrical and specialty IT systems installation during Phase II of new transporter production. The role supervises a small team of electricians and technicians, ensuring quality workmanship in power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, PLC, A/V systems, and other integrated technologies. The Electrical Foreman works closely with the Phase II Foreman, engineering, and procurement teams to coordinate project schedules, maintain safety standards, and deliver top‑tier results that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering plans for new builds.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the electrical team, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance.
Lead installation of electrical systems, including 12V, 110V, and 480V applications, lighting, generators, HVAC controls, and automation.
Oversee specialty IT installation within transporter including PLC programming, audio/video integration, and network cabling.
Conduct daily/weekly team huddles to align goals, review progress, and adjust plans as needed.
Collaborate with Phase II Foreman, Woodshop team, and procurement staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
Perform hands‑on work as needed, including wiring, harness fabrication, troubleshooting, and testing of systems.
Use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
Inspect completed systems for compliance with quality, safety, and functionality standards.
Maintain accurate records of production, including timecards, job codes, and project documentation.
Ensure safe work practices and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment.
Complete additional related tasks as assigned.

Strong supervisory and leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and team development.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including residential, commercial, and vehicle applications.
Experience with PLC programming, automation, and smart technology integration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and IT systems, including relay logic and motor controls.
Ability to install and maintain electrical systems from 480V AC down to 12V DC.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and adapt under pressure.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in both office and shop settings.
Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to work in confined spaces, off ladders, and moderate heights.
Preferred Experience
Technical training or certifications in electrical systems, PLC programming or automation highly preferred.
Experience supervising electrical teams in manufacturing or custom fabrication environments.
This role will train in our Ohio facility prior to the opening of the new Indianapolis facility.
