Overview

Urgent full-time position at Ur-Energy Inc. for operating and maintaining water, wastewater, and uranium capture systems at Shirley Basin. Shift work required with day and night rotations. Operate and monitor a uranium recovery plant and water/wastewater treatment systems (including IX, Resin Transfer, Reverse Osmosis, and other processes). Operate systems via DCS or manual mode; respond to alarms and adjust flow rates and tank levels. Collect samples, perform basic laboratory functions as needed, and use results to operate the facility. Maintain operations records and logbooks; complete inspection paperwork; communicate maintenance needs to supervision. Perform minor repairs and piping adjustments; coordinate with wellfield operators to ensure safe production. Work with other facility crews to maintain a productive and safe environment; follow all regulations and procedures. Troubleshoot instrumentation in collaboration with the Operations team; use flow meters and gauges to optimize operations. Perform resin transfers to and from haul trailers; maintain a clean, orderly plant and assist with spill cleanup and trash disposal. Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record. High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in writing and orally; basic math skills. Ability to operate pumps, filters, and other equipment manually or via DCS to treat wastewater and capture uranium. Ability to maintain good working relationships with coworkers, management, and agency personnel; strong mechanical aptitude; understanding of pump operation and fluid systems. Ability to read and understand procedures and safety requirements; capacity to work in a shift environment. Safety Practices and Policy

The employee must follow the company’s safety policies and procedures and be certified and available to wear a Respirator (fit tested). Physical Demands and Work Environment

Schedule: shift operating position requiring day and night shifts, 12 hours per shift, from 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am; rotating schedule TBD. Physical Demands: mobility, use of hands, sensory requirements; frequently lift 25–50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds; climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling as needed. Work Environment: exposure to mechanical parts, industrial hazards, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, risk of electrical shock, potential low-level radiation; noise usually moderate to loud.
