Lost Creek Plant Operators
are responsible for performing work essential to the processing of uranium at Lost Creek. This includes operating all systems in the uranium processing plant (IX, Elution, Precipitation, Filtration, Drying, Packaging, Water Treatment, and Reagents) and maintaining regulatory compliance in those operations.
This is a shift work position. While monitoring and operating the circuits of a uranium recovery processing plant, the Operators collect samples, perform basic laboratory functions, and use results in the operation of the facility. Data is collected and recorded. Inspections and minor repairs are performed routinely, as well as identifying what additional maintenance is required. Effective communication with other facility teams is essential to ensure a productive and safe work environment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and/or six months or more related experience and training. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to operate pumps manually or via computer systems to transfer fluids/chemicals and produced material within plant systems to achieve production goals.
