Job Summary Conducts training for licensed, non‑licensed operators and shift technical advisors in reactor operations covering replacement, requalification, upgrade, etc., consistent with NRC requirements. Develops and maintains operations training programs.
Responsibilities
Administers training programs to ensure the availability of qualified and licensed personnel.
Interfaces with line personnel to analyze performance needs and recommend appropriate training solutions.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using the systematic approach to training.
Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
B.S. degree in education, engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent.
5 years of nuclear plant experience (commercial or military).
At least five years of experience in the associated line organization.
Desired: 3 years previously licensed as PWR SRO.
Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or certification on BWR, PWR or both.
Location Killona, Louisiana.
Travel Percentage
Up to 25%.
