Here, you’ll do preventative maintenance and minor repairs on the newest and best maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road. Address: 233 Sardis Rd., Asheville NC 28806, United States Main Responsibilities

Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics Perform preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles Partner with manager to learn new skills using Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Why Penske is for You

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) Valid driver’s license Ability to solve problems and use tools comfortably Excellent customer service and communication skills Teamwork skills and the ability to work well both inside and outside Basic computer skills Comply with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations or other information Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Penske safety and maintenance policies (use appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, best safety practice) Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential Driver qualifications: current DOT Physical, Safety Performance History, annual MVR checks, and CDL holders required FMCSA Drug Screening, 30 days start; maintain qualification file Willingness to work required schedule, location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background screening (criminal checks), pass drug screen and physical, travel within near geography for training Physical Requirements

Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend and sit for extended periods during scheduled working period Use hands routinely to operate tools or controls Work safely at heights using suitable ladders and platforms Work safely in all weather conditions See and hear to navigate workplace safely Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg) Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
