Overview
Maintenance Supervisor, Nights at Ocean Spray Cranberries. Responsibilities
Direct, coordinate and facilitate the daily activities of a team of skilled employees to ensure the completion of maintenance—both preventative and corrective—safely, timely, and cost-effectively. Maintain standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance; ensure fixed assets are preserved; initiate recommendations on purchases of new equipment and production assets. Assist in developing the maintenance budget, monitor plant spending, and report on operating costs within functional areas. Alert management to cost and labor overruns and implement solutions. Collaborate with plant functional managers to foster a positive employee relations environment. Advise management on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, and grievances; ensure direct reports adhere to policy and practices are fair and equitable. Work with Human Resources to hire, train, develop, and appraise staff; take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner and in accordance with policy. Work with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure regulatory compliance activities are met. Encourage staff to report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate immediate corrective actions. About Us
