Position Overview The Senior Electrical Estimator will lead estimating efforts for the electrical division, managing a book of business between $30M–$60M annually. This role is responsible for preparing detailed takeoffs, pricing, and proposals while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and vendors during preconstruction.
Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities
Prepare takeoffs, pricing, and complete bid packages
Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
Support project handoff and coordination with field teams
Maintain estimating databases and monitor material/labor trends
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial, industrial, or mixed-use preferred)
Strong knowledge of NEC, drawings, and specifications
Proficient with Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, or similar software, plus Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
