Rapid Service LLC . Position Summary: Locally owned Columbia CT home services provider seeks a licensed plumber to service customer plumbing needs, provide quotes, and perform repairs. Responsibilities: Interact professionally and communicate effectively with customers in their homes. Understand boiler operation, sewer cleaning, and repairs of faucets and pipes. Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Present professionally and respectfully with customers, staff, and co-workers. Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for replacements or repairs. Arrive on time, participate in staff meetings and training. Skills and Experience: Must have a P-2 license. Experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing water heaters, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, valves, pipes, drains, water softeners, etc. Current driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to drive a company vehicle. 3-5 years of service work experience.
