This role is located at the iconic Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix’s prestigious Biltmore neighborhood. The resort reopened in May 2021 after a $150‑million restoration, offering 700 rooms, 200,000+ sq ft of banquet space, nine food & beverage outlets, poolside bars, a spa, and seven pools, including a 65‑foot waterslide.
Your responsibilities include preparing all food items according to standard recipes, maintaining consistency, checking storage conditions, cleaning refrigeration equipment, preparing daily requisitions, using math skills with recipes, performing general cleaning, keeping floors dry, and other duties as requested. You will work as a Lead Line Cook maintaining quality and coordination across multiple kitchen stations.
This is a full‑time position requiring availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Opportunities in the following outlets
Renata's Hearth – shifts 2 pm to 11:30 pm
McArthurs – shifts 7 am to 3:30 pm, 2 pm to 11:30 pm, or 9 am to 5 pm
Spire Bar – shifts 10 am to 6:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 10 pm
Qualifications
Active Food Handler certification or ability to obtain one
Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift at least 50 lb
At least 21 years old
Desire to exceed expectations
Energetic personality
