Job Duties / Responsibilities
Build Plan development and maintenance
Work instruction authoring
Shop support
Reading and interpreting Engineering data
Structures support
Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build
Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build
Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Associate: 2+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above & below job duties
Mid-level: 5+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above & below job duties
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
1+ years’ experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO)
Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Shift 1st shift.
