Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on diesel engines and related systems.
Repair and replace defective components in excavators, dozers, dump trucks, and tractor trailers.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all repairs.
Collaborate with field and shop teams to coordinate repairs efficiently.
Ensure safety compliance in all repair and maintenance activities.
Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals as part of daily tasks.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
Experience servicing excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, and tractor trailers.
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both shop and field settings.
Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
Must be able to pass a drug screening in compliance with company policy.
