This position is a Department Manager role at a Mc’Donald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts weekly, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
Manage assigned systems (e.g., Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results.
Guest Service Department Manager: oversee crew and managers to deliver great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas.
Kitchen Department Manager: ensure quality food delivery, maintain food safety, control food cost, and train kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule to meet sales and profit goals; motivate and recognize crew throughout their tenure.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced environments.
Minimum age 18 years for manager positions.
