Department or Assistant Manager
We invite you to apply for the Department or Assistant Manager role at McDonald’s. This position is in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee.
As a manager, you will lead shifts every week and oversee departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, high quality food, excellent customer experience, and efficient staff management.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service.
Manage assigned systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management) and set departmental goals.
Delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to team and upper management.
Ensure Crew and Managers deliver great customer experience and that sales promotions are executed properly.
Maintain front counter (McCafé) and Drive‑Thru organization for optimal service.
Ensure kitchen staff maintain quality, food safety, cost control, and are trained on new menu items.
Hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule them to meet sales and profit targets.
Recognize and motivate crew to promote a positive workplace.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years or older.
Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
Positive team player with flexible schedule.
Passion for fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
