Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled
Structural Technician III
to join our client's team in
Englewood
or
Colorado Springs ,
Colorado . Our client is a leading Aerospace and Defense firm. This is a contract role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace vehicles in a safety‑critical role.
Responsibilities
Assemble major assembly structures and perform minor part‑fitting operations, including filing, sawing, trimming, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to complete installations per technical drawings.
Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.
Modify incomplete and complete assemblies, incorporating changes into the structure as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years of hands‑on experience in aerospace structural assembly.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Experience with installing various fasteners (e.g., rivets, hi‑locks) and using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Familiarity with airframe corrosion removal and repair techniques.
Must own and maintain a set of tools in good working order.
Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset.
Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
