Customer Sales & Business Development Executive Job Type:
Full-time; Remote Responsibilities
Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to generate new business across the company’s service lines. Prospect and qualify shippers through outbound outreach, networking, and inbound leads. Conduct customer discovery to understand freight, storage, and distribution needs. Present tailored logistics solutions - from trucking and warehousing to global forwarding. Collaborate with Operations and Pricing teams to design efficient, cost-effective programs. Manage onboarding for new accounts to ensure smooth handoff and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot) for forecasting and performance tracking. Build long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and service follow-up. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits. Experience / Qualifications
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL sales is needed. Strong understanding of OTR trucking (Dry Van & Reefer), warehousing, and freight forwarding. Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships that drive revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Comfortable with CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and team-first attitude. This position offers a competitive base salary.
