Ameron Pole Products, An Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Caging Production Lead for our Anniston, AL. A Production Lead oversees daily production activities, manages a team, and ensures efficient and safe operations to meet production goals. They are responsible for maintaining quality standards, managing schedules, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Essentially, they bridge the gap between production staff and management, ensuring smooth and effective workflow.

What You’ll Do:

Overseeing daily production activities , ensuring smooth workflow, and coordinating resources (materials, equipment, personnel).

Control : Implementing and maintaining quality standards, conducting quality checks, and addressing any deviations from established standards.

Compliance : Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment, and conducting safety training.

Solving : Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the production process, troubleshooting problems, and implementing corrective actions.

Communication : Reporting production status to management, communicating relevant information to team members, and collaborating with other departments.

Development : Providing training and mentorship to production staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

Management : Assisting with inventory control, ensuring adequate material availability, and minimizing waste.

What You’ll Need:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Using whole numbers and decimals.

Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and drawings required to carry out the job.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Knowledge in different cage styles.

Knowledge in all the set ups of the button machine.

Qualifications Education Required High School

Experience Required 1 year • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in department. • No Attendance write ups in the past 6 months. • No disciplinary actions in the past 6 months. • No Safety Violations in the past 6 months. • The ability to read and understand travelers. • Ability to meet job requirements.
