Financial Planning Support Associate II

What You Will Do

Prepare and review new account paperwork accurately and timely.

Organize client review materials, meeting agendas, and weekly updates.

Serve as liaison between internal departments to resolve issues for Financial Planning Consultants (FPCs), Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), and clients.

Assist FPCs with ongoing CPA, client, and prospect communication (e.g., status of new accounts, birthday reminders, cards, letters).

Update and maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database (data entry, service requests, communication records).

Process client requests regarding new contributions and distribution of funds.

Communicate regularly with clients through phone and email to provide expedient and accurate information to FPCs and CPAs, coordinating meetings, maintaining account records, and overseeing new account setup and asset transfers.

Assist in training other Financial Service Assistants as needed.

Recommend areas for process and procedure improvement to enhance office efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree (A.A.) or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Combination of experience and education considered in lieu of a degree.

2-5 years of related Financial Services Industry or administrative services/training experience preferred.

Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce preferred.

Experience with Microsoft program suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Previous experience supporting Financial Professionals preferred.

Previous experience in a customer/client-facing role strongly preferred.

Certifications

Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) designation is a plus.

Compensation This non-exempt hourly role ranges from $25.00-$31.50/ hr., plus competitive performance-based compensation package.
