As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. Responsibilities

Lead and develop tax office associates to deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, develop local partnerships, and manage office community involvement. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns; ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved. Oversee daily activities to ensure timely completion of work with attention to quality standards, priorities, and goals. Train and coach associates to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information; create associate work schedules and manage timekeeping and overtime. Prepare tax returns as required; conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center. Qualifications / Expertise

Prior experience in customer service, shift leadership, or similar roles; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education to meet IRS and state requirements; computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently. Customer-centric mindset, resiliency, and flexibility in work schedule and assignments. High school diploma or equivalent (or higher). Why work for us

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $65.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefits, including medical and retirement plans. Pay Range $15.00 - $65.00/Hr.
