As a
Team Leader , you’ll inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money. You’ll build client relationships that grow stronger every year. Responsibilities
Lead a customer‑centric team of associates and accelerate the seasonal tax business by managing a single tax office. Serve as the front‑line manager, developing associates and delivering outstanding client experience while meeting office growth objectives. Provide leadership and development to associates, achieving office related growth objectives. Serve as a tax knowledge resource for associates. Manage client scheduling, resolve conflicts, and ensure clients are scheduled properly. Lead daily team activities, ensuring work is completed according to deadlines, quality standards, and overall goals. Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching associates on Service Standards and recognizing outstanding contributions. Lead daily meetings, communicate essential information, and create associate work schedules with accurate timekeeping. Prepare tax returns as required. Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with Associate Relations Center. Qualifications
Multi‑unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking or related industry. 2+ years as a Tax Professional. Prior experience in customer service or shift‑leadership role. Experience supervising people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual continuing education completion and meeting IRS/state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Passionate, determined, resilient with a customer‑centric mindset. High school diploma or higher. Benefits
